Mr. Lamb is an investment banker and consultant with over three decades’ experience in publishing and the information industries. In consumer book publishing working with Book Advisors LLC, David has recently completed transactions with Arcadia Publishing, Hal Leonard LLC, The McEvoy Group/Chronicle Books, Counterpoint Publishing, Hachette Livre, and Laurence King Publishing. 

Prior to Book Advisors, David completed more than two dozen trade publishing mergers and acquisitions, including the sales of Motorbooks, Timber Press, Sterling Publishing, and Lark Books. In science and scholarly publishing, David’s recent clients include ANSI (the American National Standards Institute), the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the New England Journal of Medicine, and the Mathematical Association of America.

Previously for nearly a dozen years Mr. Lamb was a Managing Director at Veronis Suhler Stevenson, where he had transaction responsibility covering all communications industry sectors with an emphasis on strategic mergers and acquisitions. At VSS he participated in $8 billion of completed transactions.

Mr. Lamb began his career as a media and management consultant at Link Resources, an IDG company, and for three years owned and operated Vantage Press. He holds an A.B. with honors from Harvard College.
